8 things about windows 8: hardware and microsoft

Microsoft is marking it’s 30 years in hardware with the announcement of mice and keyboards designed for Windows 8.  Check out that announcement here.  The touch mouse will also have updated device software for Windows 8.  Besides Xbox, keyboard and mice, we’re also releasing the Microsoft Surface later this year – it’s going to be a big year for both software and devices at Microsoft.

As big a year as it will be for Microsoft, it will also be a great year for all of our hardware partners.  Wait until you see the awesome devices designed for Windows 8.  October 26th will be a busy day for retailers and the Microsoft stores.  General availability is less than three months away, but there will be a lot of exciting announcements between now and then.
