    DevOps is a term for a group of concepts that, while not all new, have
    catalyzed into a movement and are rapidly spreading throughout the technical
    community. In this session, we will cover Microsoft's take on DevOps and show
    you how to remove barriers between Development and Operations using the
    Microsoft ALM toolset.

  • 9:30 – 10:30 Continuous Delivery and Release Management

    Release Management for Team Foundation Server 2013 is a continuous deployment
    solution for .NET teams. It helps automate the deployment process and helps
    teams manage deployments through multiple environments. It also enables
    collaboration between Development and Operations across the release process, as
    well as providing an array of analytics and reporting.

  • 10:30 - 11:45 Using Cloud Services for Application Development, Monitoring and Operations

    Innovative new cloud services can help development teams streamline their
    application development and delivery process. In this session, we will cover
    how to provision and manage cloud pre-production environments, show how to use
    Application Insights (a new cloud service) for application monitoring and
    instrumentation and dive deeper into load and performance testing using the
    cloud

Michael Koester

Michael is a Visual Studio and ALM developer technologies specialist, covering
Western Europe. He focuses on Microsoft’s next-generation application platform
technologies and developer tools and speaks regularly at events and conferences
about topics like SharePoint development, Windows development , Windows Phone
development, Windows Azure development, testing and anything related to Visual
Studio and TFS.
