Unexpected Hidden Talents - The cake is a lie

David Meego - Click for blog homepageIt is that time of year again. My eldest son, Aaron just had a birthday and so we had the opportunity to create a new cake.

This year we decided to create a cake based on the Weighted Companion Cube from the computer game Portal 2. Portal 2 is one of the top games for the year and is great fun for all ages.

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the Weighted Companion Cube cannot speak, threaten you, or stab you. (That paranoia you feel is totally normal.) In the event that the Weighted Companion Cube does speak, we urge you to disregard its advice, especially if said advice pertains to the veracity of cake.

This video demonstrates the fun sense of humour in the game and a bit of what the game is about.

Anyhow, here is Aaron's Portal 2 Weighted Companion Cube cake.

PS: If you have played the first Portal game you will understand why "the cake is a lie.".

PPS: Yes, I really did like the game too.
