I love it! Esp the extra challenge of minimizing the exe size. I was lamenting the loss of Spy++ from the usual list of SDK tools the other day but it looks like it's still there, just need to dig it out -- another nice tip. It'll be sad if the shell UI goes DX one day since this sort of handy util wouldn't be possible.Anonymous

John Schroedl, Thanks for the nice note! FYI that I have Visual Studio 2010 installed, not the Windows SDK explicitly. I suspect Spy++ remains a part of the SDK, but all my experience really shows is that it's part of the VS 2010 tools.Anonymous

Thanks a bunch! I am familiar with all the important keyboard shortcuts, i.e. for showing the desktop, so additional icons taking up precious taskbar space are really redundant!
