Lync 2013 on a Mac
I have been working with alot of customers with Mac’s. They have been asking me how does Lync 2013 work on a Mac. Microsoft has Lync 2011 client for a Mac.
Today, I ran some tests with the Lync 2011 for Mac connecting to a Lync 2013 server. Also, I tested the new Lync 2013 web client on the Mac. See attached pdf for my test results.

Not support for Mac is why we can't use Lync for conferencing. Is there an attendee version for Mac yet? The Lync 2013 Web app looks like it's full featured too, so that may be a solution. Does it still require Silverlight? No one wants to install Silverlight (100 Mbyte) just to conference with us.Anonymous

Have you seen an issue where a MacBook and a Windows computer are on the same Lync 2013 web client session and when sharing from the Mac only the top left quarter of the screen is seen on the windows computer?Anonymous
