Virtual Server in MSDN - W00t
Need more reasons to get MSDN Universal (that is - more than our 48% price down?)
How about if you also get a copy of Virtual Server?
From December you'll get Virtual Server 2005 Standard as part of your MSDN Enterprise and Universal Subscription CD's/DVD's. However, from September 13, you'll be able to download them from the MSDN Subscriptions Download site!
Virtual Server 2005 Standard will also be included with the new MSDN Premium Subscription which will be released in November and will superceed the Universal subscription.
Want the Enterprise edition? Upgrade to Visual Studio Team Suite wit MSDN Premium (when it's released) and get Virtual Server Enterprise Edition!
Obviously the nature of MSDN is for Development purposes and so you cant put it into live production environments, but it's great for development environments. You will also need to purchase CAL's for additional users who are not subscribed to the appropriate version of MSDN.
