The Future of Web Development
I've just finished another presentation on the future of Web Development. I'm now finished my presentations for the year.
I thought I'd put up a link to the slides I've been using and include the links I used in the presentation.
You can get the slide deck from here:
The Future of Web Development (2.7Mb PowerPoint - ppt)
Links used in the presentation:
- Live.com
- local.live.com (Virtual Earth - make sure you try the 3D version) - you can use my collection including the fun park in Atlanta and Space Needle in Seattle.
- VirtualEarth drive through (preview)
- dev.live.com (everything you need to know to start developing with Live services)
- VirtualEarth Interactive SDK
- WPF/e - Core site for resources, source, samples, etc
- WPF/e Samples: Page turn, Sprawl game
- C# Futures
This is a pretty cool set of technologies to play with. If you spend the time and develop anything using ASP.Net AJAX, or a Sidebar Gadget for Vista, please let me know - we are looking for customers to talk about :-)
Technorati tags: Visual Studio, Live.com, VirtualEarth, WPF/e, WPF, Expression, Orcas, .Net
