Group Policy Preferences

Since the release of Windows Server 2008 I have been focused on showing IT administrators how some of the changes to Windows Server can really make their lives better.  One key area of change is in the world of Group Policy Preferences. 

Group Policy preferences make it possible for me to set computer or user based settings that I used to use startup, shutdown, logon, or logoff scripts to configure.  Today group policy preferences allow me to make those changes without necessarily knowing how to script them.  I recorded a demonstration on how the preferences can be used.  You can view it below.
