How to change the network binding order in Vista

You would think that its just the same, and in a sense it is.  In Vista though they hide the menu by default, so when you go to Control Panel\Network Connections you wont see the familiar menu where you can click advanced.  By pressing the ALT key the file menu will appear, then you can go to advanced and advanced settings to change the binding order.

  Well this only helps if you are talking about the physical adapters. Virtual ones get fixed by the registry edit. See this blogs.msdn.com/.../network-binding-order-rule-warning-in-sql-server-2008-cluster-setup-explained.aspx

  Thanks, this also applies to Windows Server 2008 R2.   Regular 2008 still shows the default menu, R2 does not.
