Yep. Today's Gotdotnet triumph is the Workspaces upgrade being complete, and its less than triumphant moments are with User Samples.

We know, we know, we're looking into why they aren't processing through the tool in the right way. It's always something. Send good thoughts to Adalberto and the rest of the team.

    I see that the first two pages (50 projects) are cached now,

    and accessing page 3 (projects 50 - 75) are still dog slow.

    Any ETA on when the Workspaces performance will be fixed? I was kind of hoping the new release would signal a fix to this

    Its horrible to look for projects past those first couple of pages

    Not to mention the delay when actually loading projects (and sub-areas of projects/workspaces)

    aaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

    Hi Sean,

    Workspaces is evolving and this is only an incremental upgrade - sometimes speed can be fixed quickly with a tweak, and sometimes it's a systemwide issue.

    Because of this other user sample thing, it's hard for me to tell if you are experiencing something out of the bounds of the upgrade today (ie later in the year, you'll see more speed) or if you just happen to be caught in the middle of the upgrade process/user sample work. Email gdnfeed@microsoft.com and I'll take your particular case up personally (probably tomorrow, but it at least will be me).
