Windows Azure as a DMZ

(merci de me laisser un commentaire si vous pensez que ce billet devrait être traduit en français également)	One of the scenarios we see around Windows Azure is the usage of the Azure Platform as a DMZ.

This is a scenario were data needs to be available on the Internet (or application may need to connect from the Internet to the DMZ) while it may be difficult to secure incoming connections from the Internet or having new adresses and ports opened. Having a DMZ hosted in Windows Azure makes this simpler because a number of means already exist to make connection between the Corporate Network and the DMZ available only thru outgoing connections, and obviously because the cloud platform is already available on the Internet, including for incoming connections.
