Windows 7 Installfest in Phoenix

windows7_thumb

Harold Wong and I are going to be hosting an informal InstallFest at the Phoenix Microsoft office on Friday, March 13 from 1 - 5.  We couldn’t think of a better day than Friday the 13th to install beta software.  So bring a spare, non-production machine and we (we being Harold – I’m a developer) will help you get the Windows 7 Build 7000 installed.  Remember that this is not production code, so you may have issues.  Another word of caution, we do not have wired internet at the office, while the building does offer free wireless access.  Also, we do have some disks with 32 and 64 bit on them.

With all the caveats out of the way, I hope you can join us to install Windows 7.  We think you will love the performance, IE8, and the new productivity features.  Hope to see you there.

Please register for the event here: https://msevents.microsoft.com/CUI/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=1032407250&Culture=en-US.
