1.     Get started with Windows Server 2016 Essentials
2.     Register, and then download and install full-featured software for a 180-day trial
3.     Receive emails with resources to guide you through your evaluation

 

Installation Guidelines

Windows Server 2016 Essentials will need to be re-installed when moving from prior

  The key posted (which is also provided on the TechNet Evaluation Center) is for Server 2012 R2 Essentials. It doesn't work with Server 2016 Essentials. Will you please update this post and the Evaluation Center with the correct key?I sent a message about this problem via the Site Feedback link on the Evaluation Center yesterday, and have not yet received a reply.

    Thanks for the feedback, I've removed the key. Hopefully the eval team get a new key posted shortly.
