SQL Server 2008 is now available to MSDN and TechNet subscribers and will be available for evaluation download on Aug. 7, 2008. SQL Server 2008 Express and SQL Server Compact editions are available for free download today at https://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver.

    Unfortunately, they pulled backwards compatibility for the Management Studio's Intellisense. Worked with older SQL DBs in the CPT 5 and 6, but now it's gone entirely. Makes working with multiple DBs of mixed versions more than a little awkward...
