Silverlight 1.0 has launched; Moonlight the answer on Linux
Silverlight 1.0 has hit the web. The big news, IMO, is our support for Linux - we will work with Novell to support the Moonlight project - the answer for Silverlight on Linux.
Here are some links that I think you'll find useful :
- Read more about the launch announcement, partnership details etc.
- Edd Dumbill has a nice writeup about Moonlight.
- [update] Miguel de Icaza on the Microsoft/Novell collaboration
- Everything Silverlight : https://www.silverlight.net/

- Breaking- Microsoft Makes Flashy Hollywood Debut with Silverlight......and Extends Support to Linux
- Infoworld - Microsoft releases Silverlight 1.0 video technology
- CNET - Silverlight goes 1.0, adds Linux support
I believe Kurt and Kevin are working on adding some Moonlight related sessions and tracks to SilverlightDevCamp.
