Viral has made another video for my Christmas series, this time on Windows Live Sync, which allows you to aggregate and share your digital life..

I am considering installing this or else a different sync program. I wonder if my computer can be turned off and how Windows Live Sync operates when it is off. Can you please tell me briefly?

When your machine is off or not connected to the internet it has an offline copy of what you are synching. Next time it connects it will update what has changed on the other machines or site you are synched to ,a dn it will continue to do that each time you connected until all the machines are in synch. So if you have large files or lots of them this could take soem time, but it will resume each time you reconnect after turning of your machine.
