Using long usernames in profile import

Today I discovered a really weird thing on profile import. If you try to set the connection account to an account with a name longer than 20 characters, profile import will claim that the username or password is invalid. In this case, try entering the “pre-Windows 2000” logon name of the account (which is by default the user logon name trimmed to 20 chars).

Voilá.
