I add my vote for releasing the fix for the cause for corruption. It is very tiresome having to repeat work you did because of corruption - Anonymous

You are really killing me here. The demo was a complete disaster due to PowerPivot expiring. What a nice surprise. I tried the trick people are talking about with rolling the system time clock back but then I received an error with Excel 2010 that the product registration failed which locked it up.Work with us here product team! Why on earth would you expire on us right when we are prepping for the launch!? - Anonymous

Can you at least set a target date for the release? Like many of us, I built real-life business reporting that I DEPEND ON EVERYDAY. If you cannot get it going in a week, I have to look for another solution!!!! - Anonymous

What a disappointment. I can't imagine what kind of environment this is being developed in if an expiration date issue can't be resolved within 5 days. - Anonymous

Wow, I guess the strong comments are actually a good thing for a CTP. Is this actually a scheme to drum up the hype? :)But yes, please fix it soon. We are an ISV and some significant strategic decision is tied to the completion of a PowerPivot PoC.I can roll the date back but that would expire my SQLServer R2 Management Studio, oh well. - Anonymous

This expiration is a complete disaster that really pulled the rug out from under us. I can't imagine why on earth the beta would expire before another version is in place. Can you at least send out a fix that we can run to remove this expiring functionality until you either release the next version or RTM?!? - Anonymous

In response to http://twitter.com/powerpivot I de-installed, DL-ed and re-installed a fresh 64-bit build (or so I thought, but Digital Signature still says Nov. 1st 2009), but I still get expiration msg. Do we also have to remove a registry key or something? - Anonymous

Oh, joy, finally I managed to get a working copy! Apparently it took a while for the updated builds to propagate to the download server(s).
