Am I a robot?

I’m neck deep in a research project – which means that I’m relying heavily on my search-fu to find some information. Tonight, I managed to type in a search that got me this page:;

Your search has triggered our robot detector. This happened because your search was similar to searches used by some automated computer programs. The robot detector helps keep our site quick, accurate, and reliable.

I typed in a captcha and my searching continued. I tried the same search from another computer and it worked fine. I think this message depends on the pattern of searches leading up to my ultimate accusation of being a machine.

Of course, as a tester, all I can think of is how many cool test cases I could come up with for this functionality.
