Browser Tab Roundup

What with Windows 7 Beta and the work in TC46 things have been a little busy recently, and my nice to do list is getting rather long. Here’s a quick sweep from the list of “things to look at when you have a spare moment” that I might, or might not, blog about depending on whether I get that spare moment…

  • Pagemark’s announcement of an XPS plug-in for Firefox and Safari
  • Kyocera Mita announcement of new ECOSYS Desktop Printers with ‘Microsoft XPS file printing capability’
  • Sharp’s mid-volume color document system with XPS support as an option
  • A couple of XPS & Silverlight links: here and here
  • Nick & Rowan’s discussion over on digital documents on the ‘hard slog’ for XPS and why the XPS viewer in Windows 7 is an XPS viewer... If I can make time, there’s a few things I’d add to the discussion, but in the meantime two things: 1) don’t forget that we describe XPS as an electronic paper format because of the print focus for the format, and 2) this post is probably relevant :-)
