A review of AOpen's Pandora Box
So, we all saw the recent article in CNet around the new Pandora box. Still - no specs in that article. However, I was curious and after a little search, I found these (unofficial) specs on www.legitreviews.com
- Celeron M 1.3G
- 256MB DDR II
- 40G 2.5” HDD
- Slot-in Slim Combo Drive
- Power Adapter
- Power Cable (US type)
- DVI Converter
- HDTV Cable
- Driver CD
Interestingly, the basic configuration doesn't include wireless, as it was mentioned in May. Maybe it comes as an additional upgrade option? Also - can I upgrade it with parts from the store? Can I add a DVD writer? Would it boot from a USB thumbdrive? Anyway, I can barely wait to get more details in a few months... :-)
P.S. And, first of all, cheers to Apple who took initiative and perfected the idea of a really slimmed-down computer! I always dreamed of a minimal, no-nonsense computer which won't cause major accidents if I drop it on my leg.

Hey there,
The "Pandora" press release will hit end of the month. Legitreviews.com posted the basic specs on the product. The computer is unreadable, unlike the Mac Mini. That’s the beauty of PCs.
