Want me to find your blog resume without the trouble of having to send it to me?
Link from your blog resume to this post and I'll check out your resume by reviewing my referrals. Pretty stealth, huh? Nobody needs to know except the 2 of us ; )

The funny part is that if we see it as a test of some sort, those who failed it will have their names plastered at the bottom of this post with no chance to remove them.
Bubs, she mentioned "stealth". PingBack is not stealthy :)Anonymous

Um, I believe the intention was that you would link TO this blog FROM your resume... not the other way around.
I believe though that once you make the link on your blog, you also have to click it at least once. Only then will there be a referral.Anonymous

Maurits is right...I was talking about referrals, not trackbacks. But if you want to trackback, go for it ; )
Brant, I haven't even visited your homepage yet...I guess this is a marketing opportunity, huh?Anonymous

This is gotta be one of the stranger things used for recruitment, although not nearly as cool as Google's weird math puzzles on billboards. If you link to this blog entry from Heather Leigh, a Microsoft recruiter, she promises to...Anonymous

And if you do not have a blog? Is it okay to just link to an online resume?Anonymous
October 21, 2004
With regard to the last question, OK to link to an online resume or feel free to send it to me at heathham@microsoft.com
I've gotten lots of resume referrals so far and all of the technical ones I am going to share with the tech recruiters (wish I could provide feedback, but that's not my area of expertise anymore). Thanks to everyone who has linked. This is fun!Anonymous

heh, I almost opened up a new blog, just so I could run a "Discount Phenteremine" entry to mess with this whole referral plan here.... ;-)

Aloha, Heather. Interesting idea this blog-linking resume acquisition scheme. You might get more resumes and traffic than you bargained for though!
Strange that I came across this just an hour after looking at start.com's beta complete with the "hiring" link. I'd love to be considered for this team. In addition to my resume-blog, you might also check out my technology blog; my intense focus on convergence of technologies at the mobile handset level might be of use...Anonymous
