Manage Groups Page (Master Data Manager)
Use the Manage Groups page to view and edit the list of groups with access to Master Data Manager. These groups are either from Active Directory or are local to the server with Master Data Services installed.
Menu Items
A menu is displayed when you click the drop-down arrow in each row of the grid.

Description |

Edit |
Displays the tabs you use to view and update a group's permissions. |
General |
Opens the General tab, which you use to view general information about the group. |
Memberships |
Opens the Memberships tab, from which you can view the users that are members of the group. |
Functions |
Opens the Functions tab, from which you assign a group permission to functional areas of the user interface. |
Models |
Opens the Models tab, from which you view or edit model object permissions. |
Hierarchy members |
Opens the Hierarchy Members tab, from which you view or assign permissions to hierarchy members. |
Delete |
Deletes the group so its members cannot access Master Data Manager. |

Add groups |
Opens the Add Groups page, from which you can add one or more groups. |
Edit selected group |
Opens the General tab, from which you can view or edit the group. This action is available only when a row in the grid is selected. |
Delete selected group |
Deletes the group so its members cannot access Master Data Manager. This action is available only when a row in the grid is selected. |
