Applies-to Doc. Type Field, Post Dated Check Line Table

This field is used if the journal line will be applied to an already-posted document. If this is the case, enter the type of the document that will be applied to.

The field is used only if the account type is a customer or vendor account.

Here you can apply a journal entry to only single document, for applying a journal entry to multiple documents we have to use Apply entries function in the Function Menu.
