Description 2 Field, Purch. Cr. Memo Line Table

Specifies an additional part of the description.

If the purchase credit memo header contains a language code, and a translation for the item has been set up in the relevant language, the program used that.

The program copies the description from the Description 2 field on the purchase line.

You cannot change the description because the credit memo has already been posted.
