Code Field, Depreciation Table Header Table
Specifies a code for the depreciation table.
The program will link this code to the information in the table. Then you can enter the code in the Depreciation Table Code field on a fixed asset depreciation book. When you calculate depreciation on the fixed asset depreciation book, the program will use the percentage indicated by the code.
You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters. Use codes that are easy to remember and describe the type of depreciation method. For example:
30-20-10, UNITS/YEAR
The code must be unique—you cannot have the same code twice. You can set up as many codes as you like.
