Prerequisites for using Microsoft Copilot Studio

Prior to using the Commerce chat feature, you'll need to create a Microsoft Copilot Studio chatbot for your e-commerce website. For instructions on how to do so, see Create and delete Microsoft Copilot Studio bots.

After you're finished, you'll need to copy and/or save the Bot ID and Tenant ID values from the chatbot parameters to set up the Commerce chat experience later in this module.

    1. In the Bot ID field, enter the Microsoft Copilot Studio Bot ID value.

    2. In the Tenant ID field, enter the Microsoft Copilot Studio Tenant ID value.

  6. Select Save.

  7. Select Finish editing to check in the fragment.

  8. Select Publish.

  9. Go to Fragments and open the header fragment for your site.

  12. Select Save.

  13. Select Finish editing to check in the fragment.

  14. Select Publish to publish the fragment.
