Education Platform Partners
Education Platform Partners help enhance adoption, onboarding and monitoring of educational institutions with Microsoft 365 for Education. Platform Partners offer products and services that help customers integrate with Microsoft 365.
Terms of these services are between the partner and the customer.
- Sync Roster with SDS: Utilizes School Data Sync (SDS) UI and / or Industry Data Graph API to sync user and class group data through SDS with Microsoft 365 for Education.
- Sync Roster with Graph API: Utilizes Education Graph API or complementary Graph APIs to sync user and class group data to Microsoft 365 for Education.
- Syncs Grades from Teams to SIS: Utilizes Education Graph API or stand-alone solutions to manage assignment and grade data synchronization to the SIS class grade book.
- Microsoft 365 Single Sign-on (SSO) Support: Provides a single sign-on solution for educators and learners that is inclusive of Microsoft 365 applications.
- Web sign in for Windows: Manages non-Microsoft identity provider that can be configured to enable a web-based sign-in experience for Windows on Microsoft Entra joined devices.
- Supports Multifactor Authentication: Provides a multifactor authentication solution for students that doesn't rely on a secondary device such as a mobile phone.
- Links Learning Management System (LMS) course to Class Teams for Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) Integration: Enables integrations between Microsoft Teams and Learning Management systems by ensuring that LMS courses are properly linked to corresponding class teams.
