getElementOuterHTML method

Returns a string containing a specific element’s outerHTML content.

Note  These APIs can only be used with F12 developer tools and the Diagnostics Script Engine, and can't be called from JavaScript.

 

 

Syntax

var retVal = DiagnosticsDom.getElementOuterHTML(element);

Parameters

  • element [in]
    Type: Element

    The element to get the outerHTML.

Return value

Type: DOMString

String containing outerHTML content.
