Hide or pin a workspace panel

You can AutoHide a panel to collapse it, and expand it only when you need it.

To hide a panel automatically

• Click Turn on AutoHide  in the top right corner of a panel.

  The panel will collapse, leaving the panel name visible inside a tab along the edge of the workspace.

  Note

  You cannot AutoHide the Tools panel.

To expand a collapsed panel

Do one of the following:

• Move your cursor over the tab for the collapsed panel.

  The panel expands. The panel will collapse again when you move the cursor away from the panel unless you have clicked inside the panel.

• Click the tab for the collapsed panel.

  The panel expands. The panel will not collapse again until you click in a different area of the workspace.

To pin a panel

1. Click the tab for the collapsed panel.

2. Click Turn off AutoHide  in the top right corner of the panel.
