Returns the correct unquoted form of the specified identifier.

Parameters

  • quotedIdentifier
    Type: System.String
    The identifier for which to return the unquoted form.

Return Value

Type: System.String
The identifier with all quotes removed.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

quotedIdentifier is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

Remarks

Embedded quotes within the identifier are unescaped (removed).
