Remove Local Groups

To remove local groups for all Microsoft Lync Server 2010 services and software, use Local Users and Groups. Local Users and Groups removes the groups, users, and other entries that were created by Lync Server 2010, but are not deleted when you remove the Lync Server files.

Important

Perform this procedure for each Lync Server in your organization.

To remove local groups for Lync Server

  1. Log on to the local computer as a member of the Administrators group.

  2. Click Start, click Run, type: Compmgmt.msc

  3. In Computer Management, expand System Tools, expand Local Users and Groups, and then click Groups.

  4. Delete all groups that begin with "RTC."
