This section details how data was converted from Business Scorecard Manager 2005 to Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 during the migration process.
KPIs
Most of the data for the key performance indicators (KPIs) will successfully convert to PerformancePoint Server.
General properties
All the fields under general properties convert except for the comments field.

Data mapping
Most of the data mapping information converts to PerformancePoint Server. Exceptions include time intelligence fields and metric description because users did not assign responsibility at that level.

Report view
Reports that are attached to scorecards are successfully converted during migration. However, reports are no longer associated with a scorecard. All reports that are attached to either scorecards or KPIs are converted to first class objects. The reports now display in the workspace browser. In PerformancePoint Server, you must first create a dashboard and then add both the scorecard and the report view to the dashboard.
