Groove Server 2010 Relay provides relay communications services for SharePoint Workspace clients that are managed by Microsoft Groove Server 2010 Manager. Running as Windows services, relay servers facilitate SharePoint Workspace client communications by navigating firewalls, providing alternative communications paths for clients operating over slow connections, offering temporary storage for offline users, and efficiently managing data transmissions.
Installation of Groove Server Relay involves preparing a Windows Server, installing and configuring Groove Server Relay, and securing the system.
