Některé informace platí pro předběžně vydaný produkt, který se může zásadně změnit, než ho výrobce nebo autor vydá. Microsoft neposkytuje žádné záruky, výslovné ani předpokládané, týkající se zde uváděných informací.
Vyžaduje, aby modul CLR (Common Language Runtime) nevolal finalizační metodu pro zadaný objekt.

Tato metoda nastaví bit v hlavičce objektu obj
, který modul runtime kontroluje při volání finalizačních metod. Finalizační metoda, která je reprezentována metodou Object.Finalize , se používá k uvolnění nespravovaných prostředků před uvolněním objektu z paměti.
Pokud obj
nemá finalizační metodu nebo uvolňování paměti již signalizovalo vlákno finalizační metody ke spuštění finalizační metody, volání SuppressFinalize metody nemá žádný vliv.
Objekty, které implementují IDisposable rozhraní, mohou volat tuto metodu z implementace objektu IDisposable.Dispose , aby zabránila uvolňování paměti volání Object.Finalize na objekt, který to nevyžaduje.
