Update Manager podporuje na virtuálních počítačích následující verze operačního systému s výjimkou automatických oprav hosta virtuálního počítače. Pokud na virtuálních počítačích existují nějaké změny konfigurace, jako je balíček nebo úložiště, může docházet k selháním.
Následuje seznam podporovaných imagí a žádné další image z marketplace vydané žádným jiným vydavatelem nejsou podporované pro použití s Azure Update Managerem.
