Screen Sizes and Emulator Skins

Scott is doing a quick poll on what screen resolutions people use for development.  It's an interesting question that our team has been talking about as well.  As you may have noticed, our new emulators for VGA Pocket PC and QVGA Smartphone devices take up quite a bit of screen real estate.  Personally, I think that the buttons and softkeys that the emulator skins let you click on are an important part of the developer experience.  But I suspect that developers stuck in 1024x768 would prefer to trade off the large skin for an emulator fits on their screen.  To help those folks out, Dale is working on a step-by-step post for this blog that will walk through what (unsupported) registry and file changes you can make to get the big skins to disappear.  Stay tuned...
