Identity Training Kit and Course Updated for AppFabric, Windows 7 SP1
The latest update for the Identity Training Kit and Course include refactoring instructions to match the look and feel of the newest Windows Azure AppFabric portal and for Windows 7 SP1.
The February 2011 release of the Identity Developer Training Kit contains hands-on labs and resources. The identity and access control products and services covered in this release are:
- Microsoft Windows Identity Foundation
- Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services v2
- Windows Azure platform AppFabric Access Control v1 (Version 1.0 September Update)
- Labs release of AppFabric Access Control (February 2010 release)
As you go through the course you will soon discover that claims-based identity equips you with skills that can be reused for securing a wide range of application types, from ASP.NET websites to WCF web services.
