Bing Maps…now with Worldwide Telescope integration

The Bing Maps guys are on a roll. Last week it was embed code to put Twitter maps on any website. Today they released the ability to “look up” and see the universe right from the place you’re stood. It’ll give you the view of the sky as it would look from the exact spot you’re stood at at that exact time. No joke, this is breathtaking and neither the image below, or my explanation is going to do it justice.

Go take a look – head to https://www.bing.com/maps/explore/ and click on the Map App button in the bottom left. Then click the WorldWide Telescope icon like the one above and then follow the instructions. Brilliant.
